Netanyahu’s campaign ad, so creative!

So I came across this Campaign ad of Benjamin Netanyahu and I had to share! He is up for re-election on March 17th and He is to speak to our congress on March 3rd, against the wishes of Obama. That’s a whole other blog that I am compiling research for at the moment!

Watch Clip, it made me smile! I personally wish our own candidates would be more creative when it comes down to election time and all the ads we see….most are soooo boring! This made me smile though 🙂 Watch the very end too-clear message!

For those who think Socialism is “just fine”

I have written about socialism before, it literally repulses every part of my body, because I believe it is totally anti-American. Though, I will freely admit the ability to climb out of poverty in this nation is more difficult than it has ever been, I still believe it is possible. One has a 5% chance of being born in America, a country that promotes freedom, dreaming big and individuality-so if you are an American the odds are already in your favor.

Many are trying to eliminate the ability to go from having nothing to having something. Removing the ladder that allows for those at the bottom to climb up, removing the “possible.” Why would you remove this ladder? My answer is simple-control. “Oh now calm down….ya done now gone and lost your mind,” you might say-I would say no, I am just an observer of history and noticing a circular trend, that always ends in a revolt. I have noticed though that this removal of the ladder to climb up- “socialism” is cloaked behind the term “fair.” This of course is intentional, because “fair” is far less obvious and intrusive than calling it what it is-despair. We have created a system where there is no incentive to try. With  thunderous cries of “take (steal through taxes) from the rich and give to the poor!” What is not realized  is this is creating a “why work, if you don’t have to” mentality? Welfare has hit record high levels, which is ironic because haven’t we had a war on poverty for the last 50 years??? Over 34% of Americans are now on welfare. Hmmmm and almost 50 million Americans living below the poverty line…..I think at this point we could call the “war on poverty” a load of crap! Why are so many living in poverty and why are so many on welfare? Though the mainstream media would say that the unemployment rate is down, and things are just peachy-they will not tell you that the unemployment rate only counts those receiving unemployment. For many unemployment runs out and they no longer are counted and those who have stopped trying to find a job are not counted in the statistics as well. Then it’s on to welfare. Half of America in now carrying the other half and this is creating a nanny state….where the government (tax payers) provides and no longer the private sector. I would also add that this actually isn’t hurting the rich….the ones getting hit the hardest in this new in-vogue way of thinking is the middle class, that’s right-you, me and the majority of those reading this.

Well, “Why isn’t the private sector thriving?”  Well, when you combine being hit hard by regulations and high taxes, (America has one of the Highest corporate tax rates in the free world) it’s much more cost effective to produce and manufacture outside of the US, thus creating job shortage. Please don’t say jobs are everywhere! My younger brother who majored in “Integrated Physiology,” (ummm not an easy degree!) with excellent grades, who’s a recent graduate, is having a helluva hard time finding work! Oh and for those that would say there has been job creation-yes-that job creation is mostly due in part to an increase in oil production and fracking done in the US…..both things that vehemently are hated upon by the liberal left.

If everything is fair, and everyone gets a 1st place ribbon….this knocks out the desire to be the best….I mean if everyone is the best-then in reality there is no best. This creates a society of no creation and no innovative thought, I mean, why shoot for the stars-if there are no stars? So in return we are all just a bunch of zombies….but hey now we are all “equal,” it’s “fair” and we are all on the same playing field and that’s what matters right? Forget the fact that this playing field over time will become barren, dried up and completely deteriorated because there is no production taking place. And, thus the vast majority now dependent on government. When you are dependent you are no longer in control and you are not free.

So the next time someone says “fair share,” realize what that means. It means no choice, no individualism, no creativity, no production, no dreams…..and I don’t know about you….but I am willing to do whatever it takes to hold that ladder up!

Margaret Thatcher….what a lady….

I stumbled across this video of Margaret Thatcher and I had to share. What a woman, fearless and totally confident. I have utmost respect for her! And I totally agree with her here!!! Socialism cares little for the poor, it is only out to destroy the rich and those who dream.

A Convention of the States…. say whaaaaaat……SIGN ME UP!!!

I thought I’d re-blog this one, since 16 States have filed to call for a Convention of States in their state House! We need 34, and of course we need this to pass both House and Senate….but it’s starting to get some steam! What is a Convention of States-Read and find out! 🙂

Conservative Momma's avatarConservative Momma

I had a really interesting conversation with a woman last night. She would definitely be classified as the “tea party-grassroots Conservative.” We started talking about Term Limits and she argued against it. I said “Why……!?? Oh my gosh-it was never meant to be a career!” I was initially shocked that she wasn’t for it! I haven’t met a true Conservative that doesn’t back Term Limits! I asked her to explain, and it was her reasoning, that got me thinking…..

“We have Term Limits, they are called elections.” Ughhh ya….ya…ya, I hadn’t heard that one before. I wasn’t thrilled to hear this uttered from her mouth. She then told me about her advocacy for a Convention of the States. She said it is here we can actually CHANGE how Congress is operating. We the people have the power, if we have the organization skills, we could make history.

My random thoughts…because yes I have had a glass or two of wine ;)

A lot of my Facebook, Twitter and blog participants have noticed an evolution in me. Yes, I’ll freely admit a change has happened in my thoughts, views and opinions. At my core I am Conservative through and through, I always will be-because in this system of values I find hope, resolution and true progress. My evolving has only led me to question whether a Conservative at this point has a party to align itself with? The Republican Party, at its base is Conservative but it has been overrun in may areas by Big Corps and Pacs, to me-it seems like everybody has somebody else’s hands in their pockets. I mean we knew the Dems, were bought out a long time ago with a socialistic agenda at the helm…..but I am wondering at this point is everyone bought??? Is everyone in it for themselves, and worse -have they forgotten the people they represent?

Is it all about climbing the ladder?

City Council, School board, County Commissioner ….. then on to State House or Senate, if successful there, hell run for US Congress!

Why does this bother me? Why do I cringe at the word “career” politician? They seem nice, right? I mean they seem like they are in it for good intentions….

I guess what rubs me wrong is I am seeing so much “hype” over an individual. Hope placed on a very fallible human.

I saw it in Hollywood. I saw it first hand working for a very well known celebrity. The glorification of “self.” I will tell you, this brings one to ruin. There is no freedom in being praised, it is actually a prison. My question is how can we expect our politicians to be any different? The glitz, the glamour, the praise- it’s become an unhealthy and polluted environment. It’s Hollywood but it’s cloaked in “news,” bills and …..cspan….and looooooong winded interviews. What was once FOR the people has become FOR the elected.  “Whatever keeps me in office”-is now the agenda. Campaigns have turned into month long previews and trailers of the next big hit!

I was recently asked why I do what I do? Do I have an agenda? My answer-No. I blog because my heart is in this. My emotions, my thoughts, my tears, my children’s future. There is no hidden plan here….I do this for my simple love of this country.  That’s right, there are those that still believe in America and everything she was founded upon. “Would I ever run for an office,” I have been asked?  Ha! Only if there was a commitment to NO strings, no attachments and not being owned in any way…..but I have found this concept alone would take a revolution…..and perhaps that is my role. A Representative of the people, because I have not, nor will I ever forget what it is like be one. To not be in the upper class- to be middle class, to know the price of a gallon of milk and a gallon of gas, to cut coupons, to hunt for a deal, to know what it’s like to save for pre-school and to honestly feel, the weight of the unemployed on my shoulders…..I know, and may I never ever forget.

But until there are NO strings attached….I am here. I am blogging; I am using my free speech, my words, to usher in change.
