Your Freedom for “security”

“What if Congress did something — anything — to protect our kids from gun violence” -Obama said this last week.

The President (for only another 383 days) is set to take some Executive Action on Gun Control later this week.  Huh…..”what if Congress did something….anything,” I actually agree-our Congress is a ginormous disappointment- but not when it comes to gun control.

Over the course of the last few years I have watched the American people make the Government their God. Looking to the almighty government to save, fix, solve and create.

The government can’t fix this mess. No written law will prevent those that wish to do harm -to not be able to do harm. Bad people do bad things with no regard for the law. Most mass shootings occur in “gun free zones”- you just can’t have more gun control than that!

This desperate act of desperation to “do something” is a masking for something much deeper-an infringement on our freedom.

“Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.” -Benjamin Franklin

Trading freedom for safety will get you neither.

So …..In regards to Obama’s plea that we “do something”……I have some suggestions that won’t infringe on any Americans Individual Liberty- and will not dare set foot on our Bill of Rights. Perhaps the President could address these root causes instead of immediately resolving to tamper with our 2nd Amendment Right.

  1. You want fewer “bad guns” doing bad things?

SECURE THE BORDER! The majority of illegal guns used to do horrific crimes come through our borders that are not secure! An estimated 2000 illegal guns enter through our Mexican Border a DAY!

     2. You want less crazies having guns?

Take a look at our mental health care- or lack there of! Most of the people committing these crimes have serious mental health issues….the total lack of research, inability to treat and detect mental illness is cause for most of these shootings. I got an idea-let’s take the 2.5 billion dollars a year we spend subsidizing dairy, peanut and sugar farmers and put that money towards mental health. Or let’s take the 1.1 million dollars used in throwing staff parties for the International Agency of Development  and put that towards mental health.

   3. You want less violence among the youth?

Let’s demand parents start parenting! Ummm if your 8 year old is playing “Call of Duty” -that’s on you! If your children are watching violent movies promoting gun violence-that’s on you!

Where is the ownership? You had kids-own up and PARENT!

4) You want less “accidental” gun violence

Educate yourself on Guns.

That’s right, most people that are all for Government intervention on Gun Control-have never even held a gun! Guns don’t walk around shooting people…..it’s PEOPLE that do the shooting-

Should we outlaw silverware because that is a tool used that contributes to obesity?

Should we outlaw knives because knives could be used to stab people?

Should we outlaw matches and gasoline, because those two combined start fires?

Should we outlaw cars, because a car could be used for violence?

Don’t be ALL FOR banning something because you are scared…..get educated on what scares you.

5) You want more Americans to value Life?

Stop the hypocrisy! If you are soooo concerned about the loss of innocent life and “protecting our kids from gun violence,” as Obama says-you  should then most definitely be Pro-life, because ALL lives Matter and that baby in the womb IS A LIFE-even SCIENCE says it’s life! How can we expect people to value life when we are allowing millions of babies to be murdered every year?!

Somewhere we lost Personal Responsibility. Yes…..I know it sounds like such a foreign concept. Take responsibility for YOUR actions!

So while Obama abuses his Executive Power this next week…..limiting law abiding citizens rights -know that we aren’t addressing the root causes, and all these Executive Actions will do….is strip YOU a little bit more of your individual liberty.

“Handing over your rights as an American- to a vastly corrupt and manipulated government- in exchange for “safety” -will lead to your  slavery.” -ConservativeMomma

The greatest gift, has already been given!

I wrote this a year ago, but it’s so important to remember and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas….thought I’d re-share- Merry Christmas guys!

Conservative Momma's avatarConservative Momma

With Christmas just days away, I want to break from the politics and take a moment to give recognition to the true meaning of Christmas.

Jesus.

“The reason for the season,” we hear it so often said….understanding it, is a whole other story.

Can you imagine loving something so much you’d sacrifice your child for it? The very idea blows my mind! Why? How? What would cause someone to do this? I’d do anything to protect my children…anything! So to have the idea of God, loving humanity so much, he gave his only son (knowing that years later-his son would lay down his life for all mankind) sounds crazy!

Why? Why would God do this?

Mankind at its core, is not perfect. If you disagree, just turn on the news for a few minutes and you will hear of unspeakable horrors that mankind is capable of. Also witnessing your absolutely…

Who voted for Omnibus Bill and Paul Ryan should be fired!

A 2,009 page bill that was given to congress with less than 3 days to read- that’s requiring a reading of over 669 pages a days loaded with legal incomprehensible jargon! This Bill funds Planned Parenthood, quadruples the amount of foreign work visas -taking jobs away from Americans, fully funds the Refugee Resettlement program, fully funds Obama’s Executive Amnesty, Fully funds Obamacare and adds over 1.1 trillion to our National Debt. Who’s paying for this? You are and your kids and their kids! Who cares about protecting Americans during this unsettling time with no control over our immigration, who cares about a business that dismembers and sells aborted baby parts, who cares about the millions of families in the middle class whose premiums have sky-rocketed because of increased insurance rates, who cares about the 94 million Americans that can’t find work!

Let’s just keep funding all these things that DON’T WORK! Ughhhhhhhhh!

What is the point of having a Republican House and Senate if they vote like liberals!??? Is this not a Constitutional Republic- one that is to represent We The People- and WE THE PEOPLE didn’t WANT THIS! To put this up for a vote right before the holiday break is disgusting! I will say this-Paul Ryan is NO CONSERVATIVE and needs to be fired immediately!!! The government representatives have completely stopped listening and history will tell us…..a revolt is at a hand…….Below is a list of how they voted: (via The Right Scoop.com)

Let’s talk about guns…shall we…

Tonight President Obama is set to address the nation on our national security. This will consist of him saying “we are all fine and not to worry.” I mean he told us that “ISIS was contained” just hours before Paris was attacked and days before the most deadliest terror attack on US soil (San Bernardino) since 9/11, Obama told us that there was “No specific and credible intelligence indicating a plot on the homeland.” Anyways….he’s going to tell us to calm down and that we are all fine….then I predict his narrative changes…..

Instead of addressing the fascist radicalized ideology of Islamic terror that is rapidly growing like an unconstrained cancer – Obama will talk about gun control.

Yep! That’s right…..because in his world it’s guns that kill people, not people who kill people. He will try to push Executive orders on gun measures to be taken, all the while -telling the American people it’s for our ‘own good.’ He’ll try to go around Congress and like I have said time and time again those in Congress are our voice….but with the wielding of his pen he will silence the majority and compromise our 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment was not put in place so that we could hunt or for recreational purposes- it was put in place so that we the people -may protect ourselves from those who wish to do us harm and also from an overreaching tyrannical government.

*Historically -governments that were corrupt and tyrannical-initially disarmed their populous.

“Oh but Obama just wants to put in play some precautionary measures to protect us” -one might say. FYI the guns obtained by the shooters in San Bernardino were obtained legally. California has some of the most stringent gun restrictions in the country- it’s not easy at all to get a gun there-and yet these crazies were able to get them. So to imply anything short of total gun confiscation, these nut jobs would still have been able to get guns. The San Bernardino shooters were also able to obtain over a dozen pipe bomb-style devices and hundreds of tools that law enforcement said could be used to build “improvised explosive devices” (IEDs). I guess if we make bombs illegal people will stop making them…….(sarcasm a whole heaping ton of sarcasm!)

No matter what restrictions- laws and so forth are put in play- it’s not going to stop bad people from doing bad things. These restrictions will only stop good people from stopping bad guys who want to to bad things.

I was back home visiting my family on December 7th, 2007 in Colorado Springs and had just left a New Life Church service. When I returned home to my parents house, I was told to turn on the news -there was a gunman at the church where I had just left! He entered the church the same entrance my family and I had used. This gunman walked into the building opened fire killing two people and injured three more before he was shot and wounded by a member of our church’s congregation- who was conceal and carrying. The shooter was well armed and ready to kill many more but was stopped by an ARMED CITIZEN!

Friends of mine life’s were spared that day because of a gun! I have had arguments with those terrified of guns. Wanting all guns removed from our society-but if that were to happen, perhaps hundreds more would have died that Sunday morning on December 7th-but you see, A GUN stopped the violence.

Paris has strict gun laws, Chicago has strict gun laws, Norway has strict gun laws….. Below are examples of some mass shootings that have occurred in other countries with very stringent gun regulation:

“• On July 22, 2011, a total of 80 people were killed in Norway when Anders Behring Breivik, a political extremist, bombed a government building in Oslo and then went on a shooting rampage on the island of Utoya, just outside the city.

• On March 11, 2009, in Winnenden, Germany, a teenage gunman killed 15 people. The majority of the victims were children and teachers killed when the shooter opened fire in three classrooms in a local secondary school. The gunman shot two other people before killing himself after being cornered by the local police.

• On Sept. 23, 2008, in Kuahajoki, Finland, a gunman shot 10 people to death after opening fire on a classroom in the Kuahajoki School of Hospitality. After killing the students, the shooter burned the victims’ bodies.” –Politifact.com

But our media sources don’t talk about these cases. Instead of focusing on mental illness, radicalized ideology, and terror -which ARE the root causes- our media focuses on the insistence of disarming Americans Citizens so that they cannot protect themselves if they were to find themselves in a mass shooting. They’d rather see citizens be sitting ducks…waiting with crossed fingers for help to arrive while innocent lives are taken.

With our immigration laws pretty much non-existent, we have no idea who is entering our country and what their intentions are. If ever there was a time to be armed, to be knowledgeable on guns, and gun safety -it is now!

Now sit back and watch tonight, as our President twists the narrative to implement gun control…..and ask yourself……..why?

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

-Second Amendment of the United States Constitution

Refugee Crisis

After an all out attack on France by Radical Islamic Extremists, I have got to ask liberals to stop being ignorant.

I recently read a post by a liberal who fully supports taking in refugees from Syria. They said that we can’t turn away thousands because of “one” bad guy, in referring to the Syrian refugee involved in the attacks in Paris. To correct -it was TWO refugees from Syria involved in the attack-not one. I’d also like to ask: what if that “one” bad guy showed up to your child’s school,  or shopping mall, or mass transit system? Are you willing to throw those dice?

I am not.

With the current Syrian Refugee crisis, I stand strongly against allowing Syrian refugees into the United States. There is no reason to put Americans in danger when we could easily aid and help these refugees by setting up safe zones in neighboring Middle Eastern countries. These refugees would also experience much less of a culture shock then if they were thrust into a westernized society.

Are these refugees then going to get jobs? With the 94 million Americans currently out of work, are these refugees now going to compete in the job market? If not, are tax payers going to be supporting them along with the 110 million Americans currently on welfare? Can we not take care of our own first? What about the thousands of homeless veterans that have served our country….are they to continue to take a back seat?

This is not bigoted, hateful, racists or “non” Christian of me to say……it’s truth. The truth anymore has been completely shut up due to political correctness….but that does not make the truth less of a truth. The logical, and most fiscal approach to this crisis is to set up safe zones in Syria or neighboring countries and meet the needs of the refugees there.

In February,  FBI Assistant Director for Counter-terrorism Michael Steinbach testified that the “United States does not have “systems in places on the ground” in Syria to collect enough information to properly screen refugee program applicants.”

Here is a clip of Steinbach testfying before congress:

https://youtu.be/jLd8xVOH7WU

In other words there is no way to verify that those who come into our country through this refugee program have good intentions. Do you really think when a terrorist (posing as a refugee) is asked if they are a terrorist that they will answer “yes”??? These refugees don’t have paperwork….there’s no verification taking place. The line of questioning might as well be: Are you a terrorist? Answer: “No” ……ok come on in….

Ask yourself, just how has this worked for France? They are a product of opening up their borders to the Syrian Refugees…..

I have also heard a lot of people say we just need to put out this evil with “Love.”

What was witnessed in Paris, France on Friday, or the Tunisian Beach Massacre this summer, or the shooting down of the Russian Airliner killing 224 people just weeks ago, or the thousands of Iraqi Christians slaughtered over the last year…..was not simply evil, it was the Devil Incarnate and the Devil does not respond to love…..the devil hates love, he despises it…..so the only way to defeat the Devil….is to annihilate those he operates through.

I urge you to call your Governor and Senators and encourage them to help these refugees in their own countries by setting up safe zones…..
