I wasn’t going to write anything today, but I read an article that just compelled me to vent a little.

So I guess Adam Levine, “sexiest man alive” has been hired on to promote Obamacare, along with a slew of other ignorant celebrities.
The bummer is I like Adam Levine, I am a fan of ‘The Voice,’ ya ya ya he’s sexy, but not as sexy as my husband of course:)
But when you combine sexy with ignorance….your ignorant.

The fact that he’s going to be promoting something that really isn’t that great of a product and we really have no idea what the long term effects will be AND there is the looming possibility that this product is forecasted to completely destroy private healthcare all together is “slightly” upsetting.

But, what is REALLY upsetting to me is this Hollywood cultish mentality.

They really think they are the popular kids in school. The rest of America is just a bunch of morons that will follow their lead just to be popular. If “they” do it, we really must want to do it, (in order to fit in) it’s pathetic really.
To them, all that exists is the state of California, New York City and Park City, Utah (only in January though) Middle America just writes their paycheck…but they don’t see it that way.

It is a TOTAL “group think” environment. Hey….I was there. I unfortunately know how the whole thing works. Join the Liberals or you don’t work.

The oh so super wealthy in Beverly Hills, rocking their Chloe bags, sipping their latte’s, while driving their Ferrari’s….complaining about how terrible capitalism is! The broke ass server trying to break into the movie industry, succumbing to this naïve thought process in hopes to fit in, abandoning their roots.

The fact that this whole industry views us as pawns who cannot think on our own is what annoys the hell outta me. We must be told what to wear, what to listen to, what to eat and how much, how to look, AND how to VOTE, just straight up bothers me, ughhhh!

Just wait…the onslaught will hit soon….the celebs will be taking to the air waves and social media sites…telling YOU what YOU should do, cause in their world You don’t even know how to wipe your own bootie! For real people…..

Yes, I said it…I dare say it! Merry CHRISTmas!

Now let’s be clear….I don’t say Merry Christmas to offend…and if someone is offended by the mention of “Christ”mas, I’d just like to say take your Scrooge pants off!! Seriously people!

Even if you aren’t a Christian…celebrating Christ’s birth can’t be a bad thing! The man, who I personally believe was/is the son of God, is someone who should be celebrated!

Jesus Christ simply broke all the rules and I love him for it!

He embraced the broken hearted.
Healed the sick.
Loved those who were unlovable.
Exposed darkness.
Brought Light.
Condemned all Hypocrisy.
Broke down all the binding barriers of race, class, and status.
He forgave the unforgivable.
He empowered the individual.
He taught that we can have a direct relationship with God himself.
He stood up to corrupt authority.
He hated religious smarminess.
He embraced those that felt they could and would never be embraced.
He transformed an entire way of thinking/living: love one another.

And he’s still doing this today.
And he taught us to do the same…..

If that isn’t someone to celebrate….than there’s nothing worth celebrating.

I do not blog to make friends, or gain popularity in any sense….I stopped trying for the ‘high friend count’ years ago….
I simply write to express what is going on internally and what is pressing on my heart and mind.

I am clearly aware that what I often say causes controversy…ruffles feathers and possibly loses a fan base-although recently I have picked up readers in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France, Indonesia and Brazil….(a shout out to you all by the way and thank you for reading:))

This blog mainly (but not all the time ) discusses Politics and my honest and deep heart felt concern for this country. I understand that many disagree, and to be honest….that doesn’t bother me a bit, but only If you have thought out concise reasoning on why you don’t agree.

I was raised in a family where, politics and religion were forever revolving topics….and YES it did and does call for arguments and endless debating. You throw wine in the mix and you’ve got one helluva party! I wouldn’t trade it for the world though.

You see, I believe in running to instead of from the ‘uncomfortable.’ If we simply avoid all topics that cause controversy, we are not being real or honest with one another and in the end, never truly Know each-other. If we never really reveal our stances because we may lose relationships than those relationships had no depth in the first place. Life is short and the older I get the more I realize how fulfilling it is to be honest, to be real and to stand for something worth fighting for.
If that makes me unpopular…so be it.

Like many Americans, the discussion of Obama Care just can’t be avoided…to say it’s a “
cluster $*!*&” would be playing too nice.
This topic IS important and it really IS affecting EVERYONE and if you have yet to be effected in some way….just hold on and wait…your turn will come!
Today the President, who I guess became King recently and no longer has to go through Congress to pass a bill, basically said “ooops we messed up and we’re gonna cover it up for another year.”

Why a year? Well that’s right after 2014 mid-term elections. You see…the Senate is predominately Democratic…if  this cluster *&%$ continues…no one in their right mind would re-elect the people that caused this whole catastrophe to happen….
So shhhhhhh (they assume we are idiots, they really do) …..let’s just wait until after the elections for the whole thing to implode, is their solution. It’s about saving the Party, not the People

And it will implode…ultimately private insurers will not be able to provide coverage the way they have so this will FORCE everyone into socialized medicine-“Obama Care.”

“Force” hmmm that sounds a lot like “Freedom” doesn’t it…………(sarcasm lot’s and lot’s of sarcasm)

Why is this BAD….because it is beginning of the downfall of this great country. The government controlling health care…is the beginning of them controlling you. Soon they will control what you eat and drink and how much, they already control what you watch (media is owned), they will begin to infiltrate every aspect of your life until they have stripped you of your freedom -because they are “taking care of you” …leaving you no longer free but completely dependent.

This country was founded because we were trying to escape the tyranny of government control in England…..

Everything this country was founded upon, every soldier that fought, bled and died for to protect….will be gone.

If we don’t wake up and realize what’s happening and start to speak up about it, it will be too late…

Well of course the complete catastrophe and clear failure of this whole Obama Care rollout has been all over the media and even Democrats, who supported it, are shaking their heads.
Yes, it’s quite pathetic. With over half a billion of tax payers money wasted (and mind you…this didn’t go into our economy-no the President hired a Canadian group to create the website-when there are hundreds of capable companies within the US who could have created the site and had it work) But no…let’s outsource …Americans don’t need jobs let’s have Michelle Obama’s college buddy take on the task…qualified or not…doesn’t matter… it’s the American people that will foot the bill. Let’s see how far we can spiral into debt! At this point I think it’s a game…who can drive the country into destroying itself the fastest…ready go!

It, doesn’t stop there though…no…no it doesn’t. American’s were promised they could keep their healthcare when this whole Obama-scare went into effect…but that was just a lie…I mean why should the President tell the truth or be held accountable…he already got your vote.

“If you like your plan, you can keep it.” Obama….said over 29 times!

Even “I did not have sex with that woman Clinton” said today ““I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got.”

You see…just because something SOUNDS GOOD, doesn’t mean it’s GOOD!

“Free Healthcare for ALL!” Sounds great doesn’t it…BUT…HOW???
Hellooooooo…Do your research and DON’T just blindly believe!
When Nancy Polosi said, “we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it, ” that should have been a RED FLAG to the voter!

Politicians….have made a life long career of saying what you, the voter wants to hear. They will say anything to get your vote, lie, cheat, steal….you name it. They KNOW what you want to hear and they know how to pull at every emotion you have to get it!

You have got to use your BRAIN when you vote! Ummmmm look what happens when you don’t!

It comes down to you and your vote!

Know who who’s on your School Board
Know who’s in your City Council
Know who your Representative is from your district
Know who your Senators are where they stand on issues
Know who and what your Governor aligns him/herself with

Don’t allow them to LIE to you-GET SMART and VOTE SMART!
