Should we be paying for this???!!!

Attached is Planned Parenthood’s annual report, careful if you just had lunch-you might hurl!

528 Million dollars of tax payer money is going to Planned Parenthood and 94% of their services are abortions!

327,653 abortions were performed between 2013-2014, while adoption referrals dropped by 14%. So, for every one adoption referral, the organization performed 174 abortions.

Science now has proven that we are killing a LIFE through abortion.

I just want to know why are WE, the taxpayers, paying for this??? WTF!

A little History for your Saturday!

The Constitution:

The Constitution was not the first established document of government for the United States, it was actually the Articles of Confederation. A document calling for “inter-colonial collaboration,”-friendship between the states. There was fear of a centralized government being too powerful and the concern for what happened in Britain to happen again was prevalent, so ALL power was in the states. They had their own militia’s, taxes, commerce with no checks and balances. This idea obviously wouldn’t last long, because nothing was overseeing and monitoring the states actions and a war between states was brewing. Daniel Shay, Revolutionary War Veteran, lead a rebellion, known as “Shay’s Rebellion.” This rebellion was against the state of Massachusetts in protest that no one was holding the states accountable and that the non-wealthy citizens were going broke, because of this. This rebellion spurred a strong reaction, and in May 1787, a convention was held to ratify the Articles of Confederation.

By 1790 the United States Constitution became the supreme law of the land, and replaced the Articles of Confederation.

The Constitution is composed of just 4,400 words, it is the shortest and oldest Constitution of any government in the world. The Constitution consists of 7 articles. The balance of powers are established in the first 3 articles, addressing the three separate branches of the federal government, remember School House Rock 😉 -The Executive Branch (President), The Judicial Branch (Supreme Court), and The Legislative Branch (Congress-Senate and House of Reps). Not allowing the states too much power and definitely not allowing the Federal Government too much power. Thank God for checks and balances! The 4th, 5th, and 6th Articles address the states and their governing authority and rights. And the 7th Article addresses the steps taken in ratifying the Constitution.

The Constitution was actually strongly opposed by Patrick Henry-you know the “give me liberty or give me death” guy- whom I love! He did not support the Constitution, because it did not have individual rights originally composed in it. Thus the Bill of Rights was formed-the first 10 amendments of the Constitution-which are VITAL!!!

I encourage you to know these Rights!

1 Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
2 Right to keep and bear arms in order to maintain a well regulated militia.
3 No quartering “housing” of soldiers
4 Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures.
5 Right to due process of law, freedom from self-incrimination, double jeopardy.
6 Rights of accused persons, e.g., right to a speedy and public trial.
7 Right of trial by jury in civil cases.
8 Freedom from excessive bail, cruel and unusual punishments.
9 Other rights of the people.
10 Powers reserved to the states.

FYI-Boehner might be ousted-

Current Speaker of the House John Boehner is set to be re-elected again on January 6th….or is he? There has been a recent movement to unseat the Ohio Congressman, who has served in this position since 2011. There is a need for at least 30 Congressman to vote for someone else, in order for this to happen and the support is adding up! One vocal rep standing out against Boehner’s re-election has been Congressman Jim Bridenstine from OK. On Bridenstine’s Facebook Page earlier today he stated: “I will not vote for John Boehner.” Listing the CRomnibus Bill as the number one reason why, “a $1.1 trillion spending bill which funded the government for 10 months and blocked our newest elected Republicans from advancing conservative policy and delivering on campaign promises.”  I wrote a blog on what this asinine bill is a few weeks ago-check it out here.

I personally would LOVE to see someone else take Boehner’s spot!!! This Tuesday will be interesting! Stay tuned!

Ask, seek, knock

I saw this quote and loved it!!!

It’s easy to get too busy to think and to question, but I think that questioning and contemplating is one of the greatest gifts we have been given. My son, almost 3, is starting to question. He’s not quite in the full blown stage of why-why-why, but we are heading in that direction and I think that’s awesome!

Why do you believe what you believe? Why do you think the way you think? If asked tough questions, can you answer them? If not, then find the answers. You don’t have to have ALL the answers, but to not search for them is a waste!

I read this article below, by the Wall Street Journal about the existence of God, and I felt compelled to share. I encourage you to not let another year go by without questioning things that really matter.

This life here on earth is but a mere vapor, “You do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” James 4:14. I am without a doubt certain that you….yes you, are here for a reason. Your existence has meaning and you are not an accident. How do I know, because I have spent the time, questioning and asking…..and I have found many of the answers that I have sought. Do I have ALL the answers, no….but the BIG ones, I am checking off!

What I want to say is, -challenge your thoughts. Don’t let another year go by without asking the tough questions, facing the tough questions and seeking answers….I have found that most give up on the hunt, or they let another persons journey persuade their own journey. “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?” I Corinthians 2:11. We often assume of pre-judge, without going deeper….what’s wrong with going deeper…that’s where the answers are.

Ask, seek, and knock in 2015!
