Last night’s Oscars hit a RECORD LOW in viewership, down 20% from Last Year!
Why?
Because Hollywood has been overtaken by Liberals. Liberals who deliberately shove their beliefs down the rest of America’s throats. Insistent on mixing entertainment with political liberal bias in almost EVERYTHING. When you do this, you alienate half the population, and receive ratings like the ones last night.
Most of the beliefs that are shoved down are throat are completely hypocritical.
Did you know that over 500 armed police officers were securing the event last night. Many celebrities were accompanied by their bodyguards and personal security detail. These same celebrities call for stricter gun control. Last night most of them wore gun control pins like this one:
just this morning Hollywood celeb Alec Baldwin tweeted this out:
The Second Amendment doesn’t talk about how many guns one can or can not have -But Alec thinks it needs to be re-thought. Ummmm….Because Alec thinks he’s smarter than Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Hamilton, etc…..? To CLARIFY the Second Amendment is not a right granted to us by our Government -it’s ours! The Second Amendment was put in place to restrict Government NOT the Individual.
You know what REALLY annoys me? Hollywood Celebs that think they know better than the rest of us. They really think we are bunch of morons. They also think that they are entitled to more rights than we are. It’s okay for these people to protect themselves with bodyguards, armed security, and send their children to schools complete guarded by armed guards -because they can AFFORD to. But Alec thinks we need to “re-think” the Second Amendment for us lowly folk.
This self righteous indignation is nauseating. It’s caused most people to just intentionally ignore these people. Believe it or not, most of America just wants to check out from the world for a couple hours when watching a film and they don’t want to see their favorite actress or actor screaming about politics.
People won’t watch…..they’ll find other things to do……

I am back from a much needed break. I have been blogging for over five years. Many of those years I was talking to no one. But I stayed at it. It was a year ago this past January I decided to start doing videos, that’s when things took off. Most of you following this blog, know about the censorship I have been hit by. It was sent to discourage me, and it did.
I was frustrated, angry and disheartened. The social media giants had greatly silenced my voice and I felt like I didn’t know what to do. I needed direction. If I am making videos and no one sees them, why am I making them, I thought? And if I can’t monetize my work, then I am working for free, and no one in their right mind works for free, I also thought. Here I am -a mom, a past SAG actress, doing comedic satire that leans Conservative and I am being crushed by the big guys. As I saw views, shares, follows, likes, and comments decline I felt like I had hit a total roadblock.
“When you are going through hell, just keep going,” words I LOVE by the great Winston Churchill. While I couldn’t agree with this more, I needed to press “pause.” Not stop, but pause. I needed to seek God on direction. I know that HE gave Conservative Momma to me, it’s not mine. Everything I have, belongs to God, and I needed a “time out” with the ONE that inspired all this in the first place.
What did I learn while I was away?
1. I learned I was waaaaaay too plugged in to the political scene. I think it is so healthy to be informed. I think it’s healthy to also be active in the political world, to use your voice to speak up and speak out. But I was at an unhealthy level. My phone was constantly alerting me on tweets, notifications, alerts and so forth. I was too plugged in. I was too engaged. I have since stopped the notifications on a lot of different things. My phone is more quiet now and it feels good. My home life is more quiet. I think achieving peace, also allows for clear thinking. I was reacting to so much that I saw, instead of taking a moment. When you take a moment clear thought has a chance to breath, there are enough people reacting to everything out there.
2. It’s a dark world. Yes, I knew this already, but I realize that the name calling doesn’t win anybody over. Calling someone a “Libtard” might make the person name-calling feel better for a moment, but that doesn’t win the argument. All this does is drive a deeper wedge between people. The more you love people, the harder it is for those people to hate you. You know how you win the argument- be the bigger person. The media wants Conservatives to be portrayed as a bunch of redneck racists. Our goal should be to show our own spheres of influence, that the media is DEAD wrong. You might then get those on the other side to listen. We have to stop yelling and start listening.
3. I will still call out hypocrisy. I know that the above sounds like I have become some sort of “softy,” but no, not a softy- just more Christ centered, that’s the way Christians are supposed to be. My hero, Jesus- did LOVE people relentlessly, but he also called out the hypocrites CONSTANTLY. I will continue to do the same.
4. Goals SET. I needed to set goals. I was kinda flailing with Conservative Momma. I knew I loved making videos, I knew I liked blogging, I knew I loved politics, but I didn’t have a clear direct focus. Now, I do. I know where I want to be five years from now, and this comes with specific “goal setting” and laying out how I plan on achieving the goals I have set.
5. Censorship is real, it does exist and it’s goal is to silence opposition. How do you defy censorship? By continuing to speak up. I was interviewed by a local paper last week and the journalist pointed out something really positive to me. Thirty years ago, the Nightly News and Mainstream Newspapers, were the only source of news to individuals. Whatever these sources said, was considered the truth, now with the Internet -this is no more the case. People are now looking elsewhere for the Truth. Yes Google can suppress sites, and Facebook can suppress videos, and Twitter can shadow ban, and this sucks……but that doesn’t mean the truth isn’t still out there to be found – you just have to work for it. You have to bookmark sites (like conservativemomma.com) you have to specifically go to pages to see the new information, you have to work a little harder- but it’s still there. Underneath all the cover up, truth eventually wins.
6. My hope is not in videos and it’s not in this blog, it’s in Jesus. At the end of the day, all that matters is that I am obedient to what God wants me to do. Obedience is all that matters. In order to really hear God, you have to be quiet. You have to slow down enough to let HIM speak. My identity isn’t in video views. My identity isn’t in how big my social media platform is. My identity is in Jesus. He loves me right where I am at. He has a specific plan for me, just like he has a specific plan for you. We are here for a purpose. You find that purpose when you let HIM lead.

We all fight battles. Some we win and some we lose. I have been fighting a battle with social media, and today I will admit, I have lost. I started blogging five years ago. I was a new mom, concerned about the world I was going to be raising my children in. I was passionate about politics and had a love for Conservatism. I dove all in, and started writing. With a background in acting, improv comedy, directing and producing -the videos naturally followed four years later. I grew up watching Saturday Night Live, and the late night talk shows I loved them. As our country has drifted further and further left, I saw that Conservatives were not welcome in the late night TV arena. So I started doing more videos, bent more towards comedy, in the attempt to give a voice to Conservatives.
My Facebook page grew, my twitter grew, my Youtube gained a small following too. It was on Youtube that I first saw my videos being marked as “unsuitable” for advertisers. As a Conservative Mom, doing political Satire, I was unable to monetize my videos. I then saw Facebook not allow me to boost my posts or videos, which had allowed me to drive traffic to my website. Facebook also would not allow some videos to be shared at all. My Twitter following came to a complete stand still. My videos that once had Millions and Hundreds of Thousands of views, now seeing only a couple thousand. My voice and the voice of many others silenced. In order to make up for the inability to monetize and drive traffic to my site I started a Patreon and Paypal account to counter. Facebook then started a new algorithm, making it almost impossible for my videos to be seen at all. A little over a month ago,I started a Live show, hoping that perhaps Live video could not be suppressed, it has been. Now only about 4% of my page sees my videos.
It has been a battle. At this point, I am taking a break from it all.
I believe in Conservatism. I believe in getting the RIGHT people elected. I believe in changing people’s minds and hearts, and the Social Media Giants, have handicapped my ability to do so here. There has got to be another way, and returning to a grassroots game where I started in creatively consulting candidates might be a good start.
First and foremost I need to spend some time with God. To ask Him just exactly what HE wants me to do next. My sole existence is to please HIM. Knowing that I am walking in HIS WILL and not my own, is all that really matters. I know that HE will direct my path.
I want to thank you all for your support. I will say you really find out who your friends are when you speak up politically.
I am eternally grateful to those that have supported and stood by me through all the heat.
I will still blog and post here and there -this is not a forever goodbye, but a much needed break. Might have lost this battle, but we win the war.

Last night while we were all sleeping a government Shut Down occurred, it was the shortest government shut down ever -less than 6 hours, from 12:01am EST last night to about 5:30am EST this morning. The House then passed a two-year budget deal that earlier passed the Senate with only 16 Republicans voting against it. They passed it 240-186 with 67 Republicans voting against it.
Here’s what’s in the deal according to MarketWatch:
• Spending caps are raised by about $300 billion over two years. Military spending would be raised by $80 billion in the current fiscal year and by $85 billion next year.
• Nondefense spending would increase by $63 billion in this fiscal year, which ends in September. Next year it would increase by $68 billion.
• The debt limit would be suspended through March 2019, according to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. That would put another vote well past this year’s midterm elections.
• $20 billion to “augment” infrastructure programs including surface transportation and rural water and wastewater systems, according to Schumer.
• $6 billion to fight the opioid epidemic.
• $4 billion for rebuilding veterans’ hospitals.
• $4 billion for college affordability programs aimed at helping police officers, teachers and firefighters.
• $90 billion in disaster aid for Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
• Repeals Obamacare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board, or IPAB, which is designed to control Medicare costs.
My question is: WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM, BECAUSE WE ARE 22 TRILLION in DEBT as a NATION!???/
This Bill adds 1.5 TRILLION to our National Debt over the course of Ten YEARS! The Bill increases spending 21%!!! Honestly-what if you or I increased our household spending by 21% with NO ADDITIONAL INCOME coming in!??? Republicans want to spend for Military, Democrats want to increase spending for Welfare! So what do these guys do, just INCREASE spending across the BOARD AND it’s straight up INSANITY!!!
