Life is crazy busy right!? We often get so busy we forget to look up and look around. As a Christ follower, wife, momma of three, and small business owner life is already moving too fast!
A moment in my life that caused me to STOP, SLOW DOWN and LOOK UP, was when my dad ran for congress years ago. It was then I realized I had to start speaking up and speaking out about what happens in the world of politics, current events and culture...... and of course throw in a little satire when needed! ;)

The last 4 years especially have truly shown the heretofore unbelievable number of Christians who have never actually read the Bible. The whole Bible. I suspect many only know the couple verses the pastor brings up on Sunday morning. (At that rate they’ll be dead and gone before they ever hear the rest of it). It’s really very sad.
I had a pastor, a PASTOR, a biblical scholar, argue over my saying vote for anyone who is against abortion and abortion should be illegal everywhere. He believed outlawing abortion would cause more suffering of children and more deaths due to backroom abortions. I just couldn’t wrap my head around this man saying those things. Still can’t.
