This morning President Trump tweeted “Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only……..The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!”
These states, cities and counties have REFUSED to comply with Federal Immigration Law and have declared themselves “sanctuaries.” More than 200 jurisdictions have denied requests from the federal government to detain individuals for possible deportation. Liberals are losing it, but let’s be honest talk is cheap, let’s see these sanctuary states, cities and counties comply with Immigration Law, or own up!

How do we keep them from leaving those states….We could divert the funds used to help law enforcement in the sanctuary areas to non sanctuary areas to beef up LEO’s.

Weld county Colorado and many of the Colorado counties listed are 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties not immigration sanctuaries. Please revise your list.

My township, along with surrounding towns, unanimously voted NOT TO COMPLY with Murphy sanctuary city thing. We will be working with any and all federal agencies in regards to illegal aliens……..

We should not have any Sanctuary areas in the us. They jst screw the general legitimate citizen who pays all of the taxes. The illegal immigrants just mooch off the legal citizens.

Keep pressure on your head state as well as county sheriff; Form watch groups because as a Military person as I am sure you all already know, flood your country with illegals and deplete your federal treasury and you lose your country.

I happened upon your site; seems there are some misconceptions here. If someone is detained by police for a small infraction, such as driving without a license, their info is put into a national data base and if found to be an immigrant (read hasn’t completed the 10 to 30 year process of becoming a citizen as yet) what a sanctuary state/city legally can do is release that person after normal process for their infraction. What other states are ILEGALLY DOING is holding that person until ICE picks them up. It is written into immigration law that police officers do not have the right to arrest immigrants simply for being an immigrant and they are not allowed, by law, to hold them. Now if an ICE officer happens upon them then yes they have a right to hold them to determine their status. Many immigrants are in the country awaiting trials and hoping to become legal US citizens, many have been here for 20 years or more, and have great jobs, spouses, children and grandchildren and are productive members of their communities that pay taxes and are now being deported! If you look up our laws on immigration you will see it is practically impossible to apply for asylum and become a US citizen in their lifetime! I am not certain how it got so messed up, but these laws need addressing.

I am glad I traveled through the USA before Sanctuary States, Counties and cities
made it unsafe for Americans. Not illegal aliens commit crimes but some do and when they do they are not punished like Americans are. Sanctuary areas made it impossible to see the USA.

Thank you for publishing this but according to the 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries Map (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/09/Second_Amendment_Sanctuary_counties.svg) the Maryland 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties are Carroll, Harford and Cecil. The ones you have listed are 3 of the most liberal counties in MD and I would find it hard to believe they are 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries. I suggest reviewing your source. If I’m wrong, then the map is also wrong. Thanks for sharing.

Sanctuary cities and county leadership should be given an ultimatum: “Turn over all criminal illegals to ICE or face arrest. The charges would be “obstruction of justice” and “aiding and abetting criminals.” In effect, they are practicing nullification! I am certain that John C. Calhoun’s ghost is laugjing his ass off at this moment! Concerning sanctuary states, this is “defacto secession.” I would propose enacting Anraham Lincoln’s 10% plan, allowing loyalists to seat Congressmen and Senators, while designating those states electors innthe upcoming presidential election.
