How I feel at the moment:

After the House decided to keep Boehner, this is how I am feeling right now:

Hopefully, 2015-brings redemption, but it hasn’t started out so bright. This vote just made me think, wow-both party’s are jacked! I am in full “Term Limits” mode right now! These politicians, lying to the constituents to get a vote, then go to DC and join the “boys” club! They are willing to lie to just get assigned the right committee, please!

Let’s start vetting the hell outta these guys! Hold them accountable, term limit them, and then send them back home! It was never meant to be a career, or a club! Geeeeez!

Screaming at an empty room!

Over 560,000 Letters were generated and sent to the “‘Don’t Be Yellow: Dump Boehner Now!’ campaign,” but they will arrive too late. The House voted to keep Boehner today, and this momma is MAD!

Why, because the voice of 560,000 people was completely muted in today’s vote! At this point I don’t think “they” (our elected officials) hear us at all! And they certainly DON’T have a spine!!! DC mantra: “Go with the flow, don’t make waves, or else the Establishment will devour you, or better yet-you won’t be placed on the committee you want :(“

House Reps are also lying by saying that they “HAD” to vote for Boehner because he was nominated in November, and this is NOT true, others were nominated and our representatives had a choice!!! The others who were nominated and could have been picked were:

1) Ted Yoho

2) Daniel Webster

3) Louie Gohmert

My representative DID vote FOR Boehner-which just shows me that he does not represent my voice. The house could have gone bold here, but they opted to do whatever the hell they wanted, not what we wanted! How can you call for change, if you don’t make changes???

I am however proud of these 25 Reps that stood up to the Establishment and voted against Boehner:

  1. Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.) — Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)
  2. Rep. Brian Babin (Tex.) — “present”
  3. Rep. Rod Blum (Iowa) — Rep. Dan Webster (R-Fla.)
  4. Rep. Dave Brat (Va.) — Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.)
  5. Rep. Jim Bridenstine (Okla.) — Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.)
  6. Rep. Curt Clawson (Fla.) — Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)
  7. Rep. Scott DesJarlais (Tenn.) — Jordan
  8. Duncan — Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.)
  9. Rep. Scott Garrett (N.J.) — Webster
  10. Rep. Chris Gibson (N.Y.) — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.)
  11. Rep. Paul Gosar (Ariz.) — Webster
  12. Gohmert — Gohmert
  13. Rep. Tim Huelskamp (Kan.) — Webster
  14. Rep. Walter Jones (N.C.) — Webster
  15. Rep. Steve King — Webster
  16. Rep. Tom Massie (Ky.) — Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.)
  17. Rep. Mark Meadows (N.C.) — Webster
  18. Rep. Rich Nugent (Fla.) — Webster
  19. Rep. Gary Palmer (Ala.) — Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.)
  20. Rep. Bill Posey (Fla.) — Webster
  21. Rep. Scott Rigell (Va.) — Webster
  22. Rep. Marlin Stutzman (Ind.) — Webster
  23. Rep. Randy Weber (Tex.) — Gohmert
  24. Webster — Webster
  25. Yoho — Yoho

“We could try Freedom for a while”

I loved watching Rand Paul here, I thought I’d share!

Rand: “You sell something and I agree to buy it, because I like it.”

Wow, what a concept!

Hmmm, let’s try exercising the Freedom to NOT be forced to buy something that you don’t like-aka ObamaCare!

The idea of freedom, is slowly becoming a foreign mindset!

The 114th Congress will be sworn in tomorrow-hoping to see some real change! Not just talk-talk-talk! Now, I know that we are going to see a lot of Veto’s from Obama, but-it’s gonna look pretty bad if he veto’s everything that the House and Senate Pass.

Come on elected officials….DO what we ELECTED you to DO!!!

Liberalism vs Conservatism

Ha ha I keep finding clips from Dumb and Dumber that I can relate to politically…..(hmmmm maybe that says something :/)

There are MANY differences between Liberalism and Conservatism, one of the very basic fundamental differences is government intervention. In defining the difference between Liberalism and Conservatism on this topic-I thought of this clip-

Liberalism is like having someone else drive the car for you (The Government). They think they really know what they are doing, but-the government is just made up of people -and lot’s of them are total morons! I don’t understand why one would advocate giving the government more power???  It’s putting an incredible amount of trust in another person (a stranger actually) other than yourself.

Conservatism is YOU driving the car. Now, I get you might not consider yourself a “good” driver-but ya gotta be better than Loyd Christmas 😉

Both hold some sort of risk. But when someone else is driving the car, your individual freedom is limited!

I prefer Freedom!
