It’s been 24 hours since the asasination attempt on President Trump and I have felt a whole array of emotions.
I should be shocked but I am not.
I really wish I was though. There’s this piece of me that has become hardened. Too familiar to the vile behavior and accustomed to the inflammatory rhetoric I hear daily because of my involvement in politics.
Also not surprised, and again I wish I was. I think if you are an individual that listens and watches the mainstream media you have been told repeatedly for years that Trump is literally Htler. So, tragically it’s simply a matter of time until some deranged mentally ill individual thinks “I gotta stop Htler!”
It’s gotta be awkward now though for all those Leftists now offering “well wishes” for “H*tler.”

I feel sad.
Sad that we are this divided.
So divided that I have a hard time seeing resolve because at this point as a nation defining what a woman is, is now difficult, when it shouldn’t be, it really shouldn’t be.

I am skeptical.
This never should have happened.

How did this happen?

My faith has increased.
I consider myself to be a strong woman of faith. Been walking with the Lord for over 30+ years and what I saw yesterday I believe to be an absolute miracle. We truly do not “wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
So prayer matters, now more than ever!

I am hopeful.
Yes, I am.
When I saw Trump, blood splattered across his face, and clenched fist raised high into the air, I saw the American Spirit.
I saw defiance.
Defiance to the Globalists, the communists and all who wish to rob Americans of their individual freedom. This moment goes beyond Trump, because it sparked something in Americans all across this nation.
We are not done.
We are not giving in.
We will fight, fight, fight to preserve what those before us bled and died for!
